| | I believe that everyone has a 12-year-old boy inside of them. I know I certainly do. I mean, who else would I blame for freaking out every single time a cool comic-book-based movie comes out? So, by a show of hands, who admits that they have a fanboy side? ... Seriously? No one? Hah. Okay, maybe there are only a few of us (a few of us girls/ladies/women anyway) who geek out at cool action movies. But c'mon! Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was coooool! And awesome! And funny! And long, yes. I wanted to pee for half of the movie, but I didn't. You know why? Because I was afraid I'd miss anything. It's not a masterpiece or anything, and it has its faults, but I still like it just as much as the first one. Yay, Transformers! (Because I'm such a net freak, I found out that in USA, there's this issue of racism because the twin Autobots are voiced by black people. Seriously? Racism? I don't think those Autobots were portrayed negatively AT ALL. They were funny, they were cool, and they were good guys! What's so wrong about that?) The Proposal, Up, and HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE coming soon to a theater near you! Aaaaah, Harry Potter! I know it's foolish to hope for the movie to even come close to the awesomeness and perfection that is the sixth HP book by JK Rowling, but I can't help but hope! I mean, look at the trailers! Based on the trailers, the movie looks so faithful to the books. Can't wait! *** Two weeks into class and I'm still alive! I have a nicer schedule this time around except I still don't get to go to the tambayan the same time as everyone else! Kevin told me last Friday that tambay hours (when everyone else is there) are 11:30-1:00. Hmph. Since I haven't seen most of my MSHS-UPD friends, I'm thinking of treating them to pizza on my birthday week. But if no one's available during my vacant time, I might dump the idea. Anyway, I'm trying to fix my life improve my grades this semester. And every other semester, for that matter. Haha! I think I'm going to apply for an org, which somehow makes me feel that I'm biting off more than I can chew, with a CWTS with lots of fieldwork, biochemistry, two majors, readings-laden GEs, belonging to a guinea pig class, and hydrobics. (Oh wait, I've enumerated my 20-unit semester.) Why did I apply, then? Carpe diem, sieze the day, all that jazz. Haha. I can do this! |
